At sugrbag, we believe that good products last a long time – and deserve a second life.

With our Circular sugrbag® initiative, we want to show that style, function and sustainability go hand in hand – even in everyday life with medication supplies.

But instead of simply producing more new bags, we take back your old sugrbags and turn them into:

• repaired second-life bags,
• stylish upcycled products,
• and collect your valuable feedback to better tailor the design of our future products to your needs.

✨ Second Life – Bags with a history

We clean and repair bags that are in good condition.

They are resold as Second Life Sugrbags or donated – e.g. to projects where organisation is particularly important in everyday life.

🔁 Upcycling – new products from old bags

We take apart bags that are too ‘tired’ for a second life into their components: fabrics, straps, zips.

These are used to create upcycled accessories – for example, small pouches, key rings or prototypes for new products.

🧠 Ecodesign – we learn from every seam

We look at where your bag has been particularly heavily used:

• Which seams last forever?
• Where does wear and tear occur?
• Which compartments were used constantly, which ones hardly ever?

This knowledge flows directly into the next generation of sugrbags – making them even more durable, repairable and recyclable. If you would like to give us further feedback, please use our contact form.

To get at least 100 sugrbags out of the locker and back into circulation!

Which bags can I return?

You can return any original sugrbag – regardless of the model, age or condition. We will then decide whether it will be repaired, upcycled or used as a learning object for our eco-design.

How do I get the 50% discount?

As soon as we receive your old sugrbag, you will receive a personal promotional code by email, which you can redeem in the sugrbag online shop via your shopping basket.

Does the discount apply to all products?

The Circular Black Week discount applies exclusively to sugrbag smart, sugrbag mini, sugrbag pencase and our hip bags sugrbag Romy – in other words, our bags that accompany you stylishly through your everyday life.

What happens if my bag is badly damaged?

No problem. Even heavily used bags are valuable to us. We use them as material for upcycling projects and/or analyse them for better, more durable and sustainable designs.

How long does the promotion run?

The promotional code is valid until 31st January 2026.

Do you cover the return shipping costs?

You cover the return shipping costs. In return, you receive our promotional discount on the value of the goods. Fair, right?
